Scares That Care! is an all volunteer charity. Net proceeds from all organization events are provided to the recipients selected.

Every year, Scares That Care gives a gift of $10,000 to three  individuals: a breast cancer patient, a severe burn victim, and a sick child. 

“ Scares That Care Inc., is an IRS approved, 501(c)(3) charity. Founded in 2006, Scares That Care has raised and donated over $400,000 to organizations and families with a child affected by illness, severe burns, or people fighting breast cancer. The charity raises money by hosting auctions, attending conventions, and holding annual events, including Author Con (Presented by Brian Keene). 

“Scares That Care!” is also proud of the fact that we are an all volunteer organization, with no salaries or paychecks issued to any staff member involved with the charity.
